Location Options (shot on iphone without additional lighting)

• bedroom 2 • skylights + view of large tree • one window option • no direct sunlight + consistent lighting (north/northwest facing) • maple floors

• bedroom 3 • 2 small windows • no direct sunlight + consistent lighting (north/northwest facing) • older knotty pine floors - more rustic

 Additions / Changes

  • maple floor registers in kitchen to match floor

  • black floor register in bedroom 3

  • CPL filter for camera lens to reduce glass reflection

  • lighting + color/white balance improvements

  • simplify props

  • clean windows

  • some more clean and modern props

  • one nice big plant/tree in nice pot instead of multiple small plants

  • possibly a mac studio monitor in the future with laptop

  • simple notebooks

  • some wider shots

  • possibly some overhead shots (maple floor would look nice with live edge maple desk)

  • I would consider wearing something clean and simple (less hippy) and be in some of the photos

 

I did a little test photoshoot ~ shown in the gallery below. These haven’t been edited or culled. I am thinking I would send you a batch like this (RAWs) that you could edit and post at your leisure. That way you could color or light correct to fit any specific mood you are going for at the time.
